9 Presentation

After reviewing my own presentation of my research topic, I was able to easily pick out what my biggest shortcomings were. My use of crutch words such as "like" have become so natural that I don't even realize when I am saying it, which is one of my biggest shortcomings when presenting in front of a group in general. In addition, I stumbled a lot more than I anticipated during the actual presentation.

I feel as though both of those main issues could have been taken care of, or at least reduced, if I had practiced the physical part of my presentation a few times through. It is good to understand what you are discussing in your mind, but being able to deliver those thoughts are a whole other ball game, which can only be won with practice.
